Our luxe Outdoor Body Cream is an Australian-made innovation. It’s a healthy non-toxic way to change your human scent to smell like a flower and enjoy being outside in nature. It’s great for your skin and very soothing. Its efficacy has been tried and tested for over 15 years and we’ve had amazing feedback. Best of all it’s beautiful product to use and has a delicious scent that everyone loves. It contains no chemicals, no parabens, no palm oil, no animal cruelty and is environmentally ethical.

Vanilla Mozi is an Australian Made and Owned product based in Noosa, Queensland, Australia.

When do I apply Vanilla Mozi OUTDOOR Body Cream?

We recommend using the Outdoor Body Cream as your daily moisturiser otherwise you can apply the cream as you venture outdoors. Use the cream like a moisturiser before bed – especially on the kids after a bath. Be sure to cover all exposed skin. Our Outdoor Body Cream is designed for sensitive skin and all ages.

If you are also using sunscreen, apply Vanilla Mozi after the sunscreen.

It’s important you apply a generous layer over all exposed areas. It will take a few minutes to initiate the process of making you smell like a flower. Always best to apply BEFORE going outside. .

You will get at least 2 hours (minimum) of general use from Vanilla Mozi. If you are sweating or doing water activities then you may need to apply more regularly.

What are the ingredients?

Please see the INGREDIENTS page for the full list and explanation for each ingredients use.

Can I use Vanilla Mozi OUTDOOR Body Cream on my baby?

YES. Vanilla Mozi was created to be safe to use on babies. We receive countless testimonials regarding how amazing Vanilla Mozi Outdoor Body Cream is on sensitive skin, though we always suggest playing it safe with any new products that you apply to your child’s skin and conduct a patch test.

From Mother Reeny Zeller – “6 hours swimming in the bush at a beautiful creek filled with fools gold.  If it wasn’t for Vanilla Mozi, we wouldn’t have been able to do that unless we made a choice to cover our daughter in toxic chemicals.  I can’t thank you enough. You have done more for my family than words could ever describe.”

Therefore, if you have any doubt or concerns about your child’s level of skin sensitivity, please conduct a patch test. It’s true that everyone should ‘patch test’ a new product, but it’s especially important for anyone with sensitive skin, or for people who’ve had an unfortunately negative reaction to other products in the past.

“Patch testing is important because there are a number of allergens in products that can cause what’s called ‘allergic contact dermatitis,’ otherwise known as an itchy rash,” explains Dendy Engelman, a dermatologist in New York City. You may also experience an adverse reaction to a product simply because your skin doesn’t like a specific ingredient (natural or synthetic), or it doesn’t respond well to the way a product is formulated.

Test Patch Instructions

You should patch test in two places: First, somewhere hidden (should a reaction occur), and then somewhere close to the area where the product will be applied once it’s been approved for usage. For example, if you’re testing for use on your child’s face, a great location is the side of their neck. If you’re testing elsewhere on their body, try behind the knees, the belly area, or upper arms.

Once you’ve determined where to patch test, apply a tiny amount to the area. There should be no other products on the skin so that you can properly test this product. Reactions will typically occur within 24 hours but may take up to 72 hours.

Can I use Vanilla Mozi OUTDOOR Body Cream if I am pregnant?

Vanilla Mozi is generally considered safe for use during pregnancy as long as you’re healthy.

One ingredient in Vanilla Mozi is Spearmint Oil which has been significantly diluted and many references suggest that Spearmint Oil may actually assist with pregnancy-related nausea.

We strongly suggest avoiding citronella-based products during pregnancy as citronella is known to stimulate contractions. For more information visit: www.babycenter.com.au

In some circumstances, it’s best to steer clear of essential oils altogether. Don’t use any oils if:

  • you have a history of miscarriage
  • you have had any vaginal bleeding in this pregnancy
  • you have epilepsy
  • you have heart problems
  • you have diabetes, blood clotting problems, or have thyroid, liver or kidney disease

It’s always a good idea to talk to your healthcare provider or midwife before using essential oils.
