Approx. 40 hours under normal conditions. For best results, allow the wax to melt fully to the edges on the first burn to prevent tunnelling — this establishes an even melt pool and ensures the full burn time and best scent throw on every subsequent burn.

The candle is designed for outdoor entertaining spaces — verandahs, covered outdoor dining areas, garden tables, camping setups. For an average outdoor dining setting, one candle positioned centrally will effectively treat the space. In larger open areas or on windy evenings, position closer to where people are seated or use multiple candles. Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each subsequent burn to ensure a clean, even flame and maximum scent throw.

As with all candles, never leave unattended, keep away from children and flammable materials, and ensure the room is adequately ventilated. Do not burn for more than four hours at a time.
Q9. How should I store it?
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid leaving in direct sun or in hot cars — soy wax can soften in high temperatures. The candle is best stored with its lid on when not in use to protect the scent. As with the body cream, the botanical fragrance may deepen slightly over time — this is completely natural and does not affect the candle’s performance.
Q10. What should I do if I spill candle wax?
Natural soy wax burns at a lower temperature than paraffin wax — if wax comes into contact with skin, it cools quickly and is less likely to cause a burn than conventional candles. For skin contact: allow the wax to cool and harden, then gently peel it away and rinse the area with cool water. For surfaces: allow the wax to harden completely before attempting to remove it — gently peel or scrape the hardened wax away, then wipe the surface clean. Avoid rubbing liquid wax as it will spread.
